Honda may be looking to distance the Accord sedan from its quirky crossover cousin, since the Honda Accord Crossotour will be known simply as the Crosstour for the 2012 model year.

In addition to changing its name, the 2012 Honda Crosstour will also get a price hike of a $350. With a base price of $31,150, including an $810 destination charge, the new Crosstour will come with plenty of exciting features including, auto on/off headlights, Bluetooth and a USB audio interface. A rearview camera is also available. Two new colors are available: Twlight Blue Metallic replaces Glacier Blue Metallic and Basque Red Pearl replaces Tango Red Pearl.

The 2012 Crosstour is available in two trim levels: the Crosstour EX and EX-L. Both are equipped with Honda’s venerable 2.5-liter V6 engine which produces 271 horsepower. This unit is also equipped with cylinder-deactivation to boost fuel economy.

The more feature-rich 2012 Honda Crosstour is on sale nationwide now.
